We are excited to announce our first small Warhammer 40K GT called the Warfor the Wooden Spoon hosted by the Iron Halo team at the Paper Games FLGS in Bartlesville, OK. Will be a standard Chapter Approved - Grand Tournament 2020. All pairings and results will be recorded by Best Coast Pairings and matches will be determined using a swiss format. You can check out some of our past events on our Youtube channel. In addition we will be following the rules of the ITC Code of Conduct and you may check it out here.

Army list must be submitted via Best Coast Pairings the week before the event (4/18) via the BCP player app. Lists will be released the next day. To simplify the process please use format your Battlescribe lists with the following output options selected:

- Chess clock will be utilized after round 1 for the top 15 tables. Check out the sample rules.
- Painting is not required, but to earn the 10 painting points, your army must be fully Battle Ready
- Codex, Model and FAQ Cutoff 4/18/2021
- If a codex, model is released on 4/18/2021and an FAQ is released before the tournament, the new FAQ will be live at the Spoon, except for any points increases or decreases for units listed. Models must be available to purchase on the GW or FW website in order to be played at the 2021 Battle for the Wooden Spoon.
- Pre-Game Terrain Setup - Terrain will have keywords assigned to them by the judges pre-tournament. Do not touch the markers indicating what the terrain represent. Switching markers is considered a gross breach of the Player Code of Conduct and is subject to an immediate red card.
- Objectives may not be placed on terrain, and both players may adjust terrain accordingly and must agree to the placement of terrain. If no agreement can be reached, please call a judge over to adjust the terrain.
- OBSCURING Terrain - If a terrain piece has the OBSCURING keyword, and does not have a base, consider the base is measured inside corner to inside corner of the building. In addition, if a terrain piece does have a base, use the terrain feature itself to determine, not the base, if a model is obscured.
- If the terrain has the BREACHABLE keyword, a model may enter the terrain feature. Please mark where the models are located and specify if a model is within or outside 1" of a wall.
- Terrain marked as HILLS will have there following rules
- Exposed Position: Models on top do not receive benefit of cover
- If it Fits it Sits: Base must be able to be fully touching the entire level of a hill in order for a model to be placed on it.
- No Place to Hide: A model on a level of a hill can be assaulted regardless of vertical height if the attacking model is within 1" horizontally.
